Welcome Church Berlin is open to all people from all walks of life. Whatever thoughts or questions you may have about God and church, we hope you feel comfortable to join us, and discover more about God’s love for you.
Our Story
God spoke to our family of churches and to us, as a church community about playing our part in being a blessing to Berlin. We started as a group of people, in a living room in Mitte and have continued to grow. We have recently begun services on Sunday mornings at a venue in Kreuzberg.
Our group is diverse, made up of local and international, people of different ages, various stages of life and multiple cultural backgrounds. We believe the gospel of Jesus is good news for all of us! We are really excited to be starting a Bible-based, Grace-filled, Spirit-empowered, city-impacting church that loves God and loves Berlin.

WELCOME GROUPS
Every 4th Sunday in the month we meet in each other’s home for a Sunday gathering. On these weeks we will not be meeting in Gloria. Let us know if you would like to join a welcome group and we can give you more details.

What is a welcome church service like?
Do you speak German or English?
Our heart is for the whole city, reaching Germans and internationals. We are a bilingual church with our services including live translation into English and German.
Can I just come along?
Yes, it would be great to see you. Let us know in advance so that we can look out for you on arrival and inform you of any changes to our services.
What happens at your services?
We begin with a short welcome, then have a time of singing modern worship songs, followed by Bible teaching from one of our leaders. Kids join us for a few songs and then head out to our kids activities led by an excellently trained children’s team. We always ensure we have two leaders with our children to ensure the kids safety and maximum enjoyment.
Part of our vision is to start new churches and communities across the city of Berlin. Therefore, occasionally we will host ‘Missional Communities’ which meet locally across the city.
How long are the services?
Our services are typically 90mins long. Afterwards, we chat and connect with one another in a relaxed environment.
